THE BEGINNING
Sweet Creations Unlimited, Inc. (formerly known as Charlotte Collins) has been located at 5940 Torresdale Avenue in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia since 1978. We will be celebrating our 40th anniversary at the same address this Fall. Charlotte Collins opened the business in 1978 as a school of cake decorating. Later, she began selling supplies for cake decorating and gradually added candy making supplies to her offerings. |

AN IDEA
In 1992, Kathy Bloom and Betty Grigg were students in one of Charlotte’s classes when Charlotte mentioned that she wanted to sell her business. Kathy (with her love of cake decorating) and Betty (with her love of candy making) knew that it would be the ideal business for the two sisters who always enjoyed doing things together. Just like that, arrangements were made to buy the business. Since that time, Kathy and Betty have built up the business and it is now better than ever! |

TODAY, AND BEYOND
We carry a complete line of cake and candy supplies, including a complete selection of candy molds for all occasions. We also carry Merckens and Clasen candy melting wafers in many different colors and tastes, lollipop sticks, bags, and cake/candy boxes in a full selection of sizes and styles. If there is anything else you may need to make your own candy favors, chocolate covered pretzels, or more, we probably already carry it and if we don’t, we will! We are always happy to explain to you how easy it is to make your own candy for party favors or holiday gifts with a personal touch. |
